When Melissa first approached me, she was struggling to focus, would become overwhelmed by social media and couldn’t decide what to share.
When potential clients discuss working with The Creative Marketing Co, they express feelings of overwhelm and stress. Social Media Management is a daunting but necessary task for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
My Process
Instead of jumping into content creation for Melissa, I first organised a strategy call to really get to know Melissa, her niche and how exactly I could help.
After analysing Melissa’s social media presence, a few things became evident. While it was clear that Melissa had strong written communication skills, an overarching strategy and plan of attack was lacking.
Knowing that Melissa knew her business and her clients better than anyone, I suggested Copywriting Mentoring instead of outsourcing Social Media Management. My Copywriting Mentoring Program allows business owners to maintain control over their socials while elevating their communication.
After our Zoom call, Melissa felt we were a good fit. We got to work on the project – our Copywriting Mentoring Program.
The PROJECT
Together, Melissa and I engaged in a strategy meeting where we identified her niche, their unique needs, pain points and desired state. We also worked through Melissa’s branding, her desired frequency of posting and focused on ideas to elevate “the grid” on Instagram.
Melissa and I would meet weekly for our one hour 1:1 sessions and create a content plan.
I assisted Melissa with creating a manageable content sequence and keeping on task with posting. Melissa offered her ideas and concerns and together we worked at elevating our social media content.
OUTCOMES
Over the 8 weeks, Melissa’s social media posts had more reach and more engagement. She experienced more comments, connected with a larger audience and secured more clients through both Instagram and Facebook.
Beyond the insights/ analytics, Melissa felt at ease; more confident in her ability to create social media content. We forged a system that worked for Melissa and her conversion rate from socials noticeably increased.
Melissa felt empowered to take control of her posts. Within 8 weeks of coaching, Melissa was more confident in her ability and was posting content that connected with her niche.
